2 Month update

 2 month anniversary update!
Now that it's been two months,  I wanted to just talk a bit about the surprises of living small.
First off, the windows can get condensation build up quite easily.  We often have to turn the fan on or take the curtain off to accommodate this.  Two humans and two rabbits breathe a lot.
The kitchen is very well loved and does need to be cleaned daily. We only have enough dishes for a couple meals and the sink can't take much more than that either.  I'm glad we got a counter extension from NeNe because the toaster oven would dominate the kitchen without it.
We finally got our shower curtain.  It's been tricky sizing it because it's a custom space so Marie helped me hem it to the perfect fit. Blackberry and Sage our bunnies enjoy sitting in the shower when the heated floor gets to warm for them.
Much to Jacob's chagrin the rabbits have been enjoying the handy chewing posts around the house.  We're planning on letting them eat through the moulding and then putting up unpainted corner molding for their chewing pleasure.
Sharing this tiny space has been absolutely wonderful but also a challenge.  Something I hadn't considered was how much hair is shed from both humans and rabbits.  It gets in the fans, the dishes,  on the stairs,  and our clothes.  We have to keep up on cleaning but it is less of a chore because we just have to do small things every day.

Tiny Home, Big Update

 Propane!
 Water!
Hot water heater! Jacob says no to go above 120 degrees fahrenheit...

Radiant floor heat! the house is currently toasty warm at 74 degrees fahrenheit.

The weather has been so cold that our pipes have been freezing so Jacob and Marie devised a plan to keep them warm. Jacob wrapped our pipes with heat tape.
We've also been having issues with our drain field clogging/freezing. Jacob already had to dig it up once to get the system working properly
